Reflecting On This Past Season

What A Season It Was
From the first chair on December 5th to the last run down Showboat, the 2025-26 season at Ragged Mountain was one for the books, and not just because of the skiing, though the skiing was pretty great. It was about everything else that comes with a full season on this mountain: the community, the chilly mornings, the hard work, and the moments that remind you why you keep coming back. This place has something that’s hard to put into words. It’s the way the light hits the trails on a January morning. It’s the regulars who have been riding the same lifts for thirty years. It’s the families making their first turns together. This season reminded us of all of it.
The People Who Made It Happen
None of this happens without the people who show up every single day, often before sunrise, often in weather that would send most of us back to bed.
To our snowmakers who built the base, our groomers who had the trails corduroy-perfect at first chair, our ski patrol who kept every run safe, our instructors who turned nervous first-timers into confident skiers, and our lodge and lift teams who kept everything running with a smile: you are Ragged Mountain. To the the racing families, the terrain park regulars, the glade loyalists, and everyone in between: the mountain is yours as much as anyone’s. Thank you for being here.
Eyes on Next Winter
We’re already looking forward. The 2026+27 Stash Pass is on sale now, and there’s more to come in the months ahead. Read A Letter of Appreciation and Future Plans for announcements about what’s new, what’s improved, and what we’re building toward. If this season was any indication, the best days at Ragged are still ahead.
