Ragged Days of Summer

The Ragged Days of Summer are upon us!  Warm Summer days are meeting longer cooler nights and we can all see it and feel it.  Up high, the bright greens of mid-summer are giving way to patches of lighter yellow. We are reaching for our sweatshirt for the morning walk and the bustling sounds of a new school year are growing louder in our homes. While a part of us wishes Summer would never end; at our core, we love the changing seasons. It’s why we live here. The signal this sends to the powder loving, groomer ripping part of us means we know the very best days are ahead. After all, we are just 100 days away from lift serviced skiing at Ragged Mountain.

Between now and then there is still lots to do. We are working feverishly to dial in our lifts and snowmaking, including expanded snowmaking access in Big Rock Basin. We are buttoning up our off-season upgrades to the Elmwood lodge, including a newly designed Harvest Café, seating area, and retail space. The place is humming with activity and purpose and we know it won’t be long before the temperatures dip, the snow is flying and we are welcoming you, our winter family back to our favorite home hill.

Hosted by Locke’s Promise, Inc. this is not just any event—it’s a unique gathering of Jeep, offroad and cycle enthusiasts, and we want you to be there! This event is free and open to the general public, if you want to enter your rig, register today. 
• October 11th – Harvest party – Save the date for our signature fall event to kick-off the Winter season.
