The Ragged Mountain Ski Team (RMST) is a Bronze Certified US Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) club that supports the Ragged Mountain Competition Programs weekend program serving athletes from ages 8-18. Ragged Mountain is a member of the Western Division of the New Hampshire Alpine Racing Association (NHARA). RMST and Ragged Mountain strive to provide the best opportunities for young athletes of all ages, backgrounds and commitment levels, the chance to enjoy and achieve excellence in alpine skiing and racing. Ragged Mountain achieves this by providing a professional staff and routine training on appropriate, quality terrain, in a fun, healthy, family-friendly, environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship and confidence. We coach our athletes to become great skiers first, with a broad fundamental skill base while fostering a love for their sport.

Race training will begin in early December when the mountain opens and will continue until mid to late march. This is the primary RMST program open to U10 through U19 age skiers. It consists of coached training on both Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and additional training opportunities during vacation weeks and holiday periods. Coaching is provided for early season fundamentals, and coaching / training is geared toward preparing the RMST racers for the NH divisional races, scored races, open races, and state championship races. Regional, National, or International Championship level events may incur additional coaching fees to cover coaches travel expenses. Race entry fees are the responsibility of the athlete/parent. USSA and NHARA membership is required. This is the only program available for racers wishing to participate in USSA races. Groups will be formed by USSA age categories. Participation may be limited due to coaching constraints, but every effort possible will be made to accommodate all interested athletes. Skiers in this group must have the ability to ski all groomed terrain at Ragged Mountain Resort safely and have the ability to ride lifts unattended.
