There’s nothing quite like waking up to a fresh blanket of snow, and this morning delivered in a big way. We got 12 glorious inches of the good stuff, and the best part? We’re 100% open and ready to shred.
Every turn through the trees reveals untouched powder stashes just waiting to be claimed, and If you know where to look (and we know you do), there are still plenty of secret spots holding that fresh, untracked goodness. And here’s the kicker…it’s still coming down. Mother Nature isn’t done with us yet.
We could wax poetic about how great this snow is all day, but what really gets us is watching this place come alive on a day like today. The parking lot fills up before first chair, friends text friends who text more friends, and suddenly everyone’s calling in “sick” to work. There’s a mom teaching her kid to navigate powder for the first time, a group of friends laughing as one of them takes a tumble into a pillow of snow, and that regular who shows up every day without fail, grinning like they’ve won the lottery. Because in a way, we all have. These are the days we live for, the ones that keep us coming back, the stories we’ll be telling at the bar for weeks. The mountain’s buzzing, the snow keeps falling, and honestly? We wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
