Should you ever need to visit Ski Patrol, our first aid offices are located in the basement of the Elmwood Lodge and also at the Summit of Both Peaks.

 

SKIERS RESPONSIBILITY CODE 
As a guest at our resort, we ask that you abide by the Skiers Responsibility Code:

  1. Always stay in control, and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.
  2. People ahead of you have the right-of-way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
  3. You must not stop where you obstruct a trail, or are not visible from above.
  4. Whenever starting downhill or merging into a trail, look uphill and yield to others.
  5. Always use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
  6. Observe all posted signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas
  7. Prior to using any lift, you must have the knowledge and ability to load, ride and unload safely.

We have a number of terrain parks and natural features here at Ragged Mountain. Around the resort, you will find features like table top jumps, step ups, wall rides, and cliff drops. To be safe, it’s always important to inspect all features before using them. Check your surroundings and be certain that your landing is clear. SMART Style is the industry standard for terrain park safety, be sure to check out their website.

 

Backpack Policy

At Ragged Mountain, all Guests and Employees MUST REMOVE backpacks before loading chairlifts. This rule is strongly enforced, and we ask you please carry your backpack on your lap while riding the chairlift. The use of child-carrier backpack devices is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
