Fresh Snow, New Trails, and Good Vibes: Welcome to 2026 at Ragged Mountain

If 2025 was incredible at Ragged Mountain (and trust us, it was), then 2026 is about to blow it out of the water.

We’re starting the year strong with flakes falling, exciting events, and, Flying Yankee opens tomorrow. Time to explore new lines and add some variety to your favorite runs.

First up: Junkyard Jam on Sunday, January 11 from 9:30am–1:30pm. Expect good energy, creative park features, and a chance to show off your skills (or just spectate with hot cocoa in hand).

Then, on Martin Luther King Day, January 19th, we’re hosting our annual Ragged Mountain Food Drive. Nothing beats skiing with purpose.

Bring 5 non-perishable food items per person and you’ll score seriously discounted lift tickets: just $59 for adults and $47 for juniors and seniors (that’s a $20 savings). Every donation goes directly to the Danbury Food Pantry, helping our neighbors when they need it most. Lifts start spinning at 9:00am, so fuel up, grab your gear, and let’s make some memories together.
