About the Program

Our Freeski and Freestyle Snowboard programs both share the goal of introducing young, aspiring Freestyle skiers and riders, to the skills necessary to safely enjoy the incredible terrain parks here at Ragged Mountain, while also challenging athletes to improve their skills to prepare them to compete in local and regional USASA events. This is achieved through with a balance between a comprehensive event schedule at local events, and a strong focus on safe use of terrain park features, as well as bump skiing/riding, skier/boarder cross, all mountain skiing/riding, and skill development. Skiers and Riders must have the ability to ski or ride all groomed terrain on Ragged Mountain to join these programs. Park experience is encouraged, but not required. All Freestyle athletes must have a USASA license.
