The Henry Whipple House Bed & Breakfast was constructed in 1904 and is typical of the Victorian era, which can be seen in the architecture, oak woodwork, hardwood floors, chandeliers and stained glass windows. The Highland Lake Inn, originally built in 1767, provides a perfect retreat just 12 miles from the slopes of Ragged Mountain. The inn's ten guest rooms feature private full bathrooms with distinctive amenities by Molton Brown of London; the most king-size beds available in the area, furnished with luxurious Italian linens by Mascioni; flat screen cable TV and Wi Fi access.
