GUARANTEED LEARN TO SKI AND SNOWBOARD - $64
The Ski and Snowboard School will put you with just the right hand-picked instructor to make your learning fun. And if you’re out for the first time, we’ll guarantee that you’ll be turning by the end of the day or we’ll welcome you back for another day on us. Does it get any better than that?
The program is designed for first time skiers and snowboarders ages 13+. The program is broken down into two segments. The first visit is called the Guaranteed Learn to Ski or Ride. The cost is $64 and includes your lower mountain lift ticket, ski or snowboard rentals, and a 2 hour group lesson. You are guaranteed to be making turns by the end of your lesson or your next lesson is on us.

- Buy a full day ticket for yourself, and your friend gets their first Learn to Ski & Ride lesson FREE.

TO THE TOP
After you complete your first lesson you will be given a To the Top Program card. The To the Top program is the next step in becoming a skier or snowboarder. This card will include your photo and can be preloaded with the two future visit discounts. The two future visits can be purchased on the day of your first visit for $100, for $110 on your second visit, or on the day of each visit for $64. These include a lower mountain lift ticket, rental equipment, and a 2 hour lesson. The lift ticket can be upgraded to an all mountain ticket depending on your progress. We will have you skiing from one of our chair lift accessed trails by the end of your third lesson or your next lesson is on us.
After you have completed the program you will be given a 50% off ticket for your next visit and offered discounts on a current year season pass and rental equipment.
These programs are offered at 10am and 1pm daily.
KIDS
A Lesson for Every Level - Learning programs at Ragged Mountain include: Mighty Moose (age 3), Ragged Rockets or Mini Riders (Ages 4-6), Rookie Rangers or Mountain Riders (Ages 7-12), and a full range of adult and private lessons. We also offer half and full-day Kid’s Adventure Camps, where participants spend their time in a friendly group environment that makes learning fun. ADULTS
WHICH LEVEL IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
- Level 1 - This is my first time! I would like to learn about my equipment, controlling my speed, turning and stopping.
- Level 2 - I have mastered the ground lifts, and I am ready for the chairlifts. I’m getting comfortable on my skis or snowboard, and I understand the basics.
- Level 3 - I am confident on the green slopes. I can ride the chairlift, and I am ready to go To-the-Top.
