Current Positions Available:

Lift Mechanics- Full Time Year-Round

 

Ragged Mountain Resort seeks full time year-round Lift Mechanics to join our Lifts Team at this rapidly expanding, year round resort.  New lifts are planned as part of major skiing terrain expansions.

Qualified potential team members will possess a high level of troubleshooting skills and knowledge of Poma and Dopplemayer detachable and Hall lifts with a minimum of 5 years of working experience on lifts and their components, electrical systems and drives.

Job Responsibilities include:

 

·         Daily routine maintenance and upkeep of lifts and surrounding support structures

·         Daily inspection checks

·         Long term maintenance and rebuilding of components

·         Electrical systems troubleshooting

·         Chair removal, repair and installations

·         Maintenance of diesel back-up systems

·         Assist with special projects as assigned

 

Applicants must:

·         Be reliable

·         Safety focused

·         Have a positive attitude

·         Climb lifts towers

·         Use PPE

·         Lift up to 75 pounds

·         Work in adverse outdoor environments throughout the entire year.

Other competencies and attributes:

·         Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills. Ability to work under constant deadlines and multitask effectively.

·          Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required including strong business communication and consulting skills.

·         Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.

·         Must be detail oriented

Compensation will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
