HOW THE “GOOD” GET THAT WAY

Green - You will learn the basic fundamentals including how to stop and control your speed by turning and drawing shapes in the snow. Green level lessons are introduced to our surface lifts as well as to the learning center chairlift.

 

Blue - Refine your skills on steeper, more challenging terrain. This level is perfect for those who are parallel skiers/riders and want to take their ability to a higher level. At the blue level you will learn different turn shapes, have an introduction to carving, bumps and variable terrain including the Pocket Park.

 

Black - Explore and discover what Ragged Mountain has to offer. The mountain is your playground. The black level lesson is a great way to perfect your skills whether you want to carve like a racer, learn tricks in the Ragtime Terrain Park, bang the bumps, or shred through the trees.

Private lessons are available to all skiers and riders at all ability levels. Whether it is your first time or you have been skiing/riding for years, working one on one with a professional is the best way to tailor the lesson experience to your personal needs. Advanced reservations are preferred; however we can often accommodate you within an hour of your request.

Our adult seasonal program is designed for intermediate to expert skiers and riders who want to make giant strides forward. Put together 4 to 10 people and create the perfect group program! Business colleagues, long time friends, or new neighbors will all have a blast. This program gets you on the mountain where you will really improve over 16 on-snow days with express lift access and certified instruction. Sessions start at 9:30am and 1:00pm every Saturday from December 29, 2009 until March 20, 2010. (Sundays are included on MLK and Presidents Day weekend).
